The boys beat Winchester 5-2. Logan White pitched 6 very good innings to pick up the victory. Blake Waters relieved Logan and got out of bases loaded jam in the top of the 7th inning thanks to a fly ball hit to Kaiden White in right field. Kaiden made the catch and then made a tremendous throw home to nail the runner at the plate for the final out of the game. Keaton Mikesell paced the offensive side with 2 runs scored and 3 stolen bases. Carson Terrell had 2 RBI’s. There were several players that made contributions by just putting the ball in play and moving the runners along that resulted in runs being scored. The boys are now 12-7 on the season and 3-3 in conference play. They host Hagerstown on Wednesday in another conference matchup.
