Lady Knights started out the season with a solid team effort 14-4 win over National Trail. Lady Knights delivered a strong offensive attack with freshman Brooklynne Adams leading the way. B. Adams went 3-3 with the season's first homerun, 2 singles, and 2 RBIs.. Clare Lopeman, Nevaeh Chapman, Lexi Russell, and Addisyn Wright also contributed 2 RBIs each. Lady Knights shared the mound time, with each pitcher going 2 complete innings. Junior Clare Lopeman stated the season with a win allowing 2 hits, 5 strikeouts, 2 runs, 0 ER. Freshman Addisyn Wright finished with 1 run, 0 ER and 2 strikeouts, while classmate Belle Stoops finished the game with a save allowing 1 ER and 2 strikeouts. Lady Knights will open their home season against Tri-Village Tuesday, March 21 @ 530pm.
