The lady knights had their first home game on Tuesday, falling to Tri-Village 4-3. The girls started off slow, giving up a run in 2nd inning and 2 runs in the 3rd inning. The girls finally got on the board in 4th inning tying it up at 3. Russell started the inning with a double and scoring on a pass ball. Next Lopeman singled on a hard hit to left field then getting to second on a pass ball. B. Adams got walked and Green got a single bringing Lopeman in. Finally McFarland hit a single moving B. Adams to third who made it home on an error. The girls gave up another run in the 6th inning and just couldn’t get anything going to end with Tri-Village taking the win. Lopeman was on the mound for the knights, she pitched 7 innings only walking one batter, while striking out 10. The Lady Knights play next on April 3rd @ Wapahani with a 5:30pm game time.
