The Knights went to New Madison, Ohio on Tuesday evening and defeated the Tri Village Patriots 11-0 in 5 innings. The Knights were led offensively by Kaiden White and Keaton Mikesell each with 3 hits. Justice Hollingsworth went 2-2 at the plate. Carson Terrell had the big hit that broke the game open in the 3rd inning with a three rbi double that followed an intentional walk to Logan White to load the bases. Landen Sum pitched 3 shutout innings allowing 1 hit and striking out 4. Kaiden White followed Sum to the mound and pitched 2 shutout innings also striking out 4 and allowing 2 hits. The Knights are now 1-0 on the season. They are scheduled to at Shenandoah next Monday and have their home opener the following day with Muncie Burris.
