Lady Knights Earn First Outright TEC Title Since 1989

Northeastern entered Wednesday's contest unbeaten in the TEC and by the end of the night, that streak continued. The Lady Knights jumped out to a 10 point lead by the end of the first quarter. They extended their lead to 20 by halftime behind 7 made three pointers as a team. The Lady Knights pushed their lead to 29 heading into the final quarter and won by a final of 59-30. The win gave Northeastern their first TEC Championship since 2021 when they shared the honor with Winchester. This was Northeastern's first outright conference championship for girls basketball since 1989.
