It was Youth Night at Larry Moore Gymnasium on Saturday night with Northeastern playing host to Blue River in a girl/boy double header. Although it was a slow start the Lady Knights jumped out to a 9-4 lead through the 1Q. By halftime, the Knights offense had stalled out a bit as they trailed 18-16 midway through the game. Northeastern ramped up the defensive pressure in the second half and was able to extend the lead to as much as 15 by the beginning of the 4Q. The Lady Knights held on to win by a final score of 55-41. Northeastern plays again at home on Wednesday in a big TEC matchup vs Winchester. The JV girl/boy double header vs Blue River will take place Monday evening at Northeastern.
