Northeastern MS/HS

Northeastern traveled to Liberty, IN on Wednesday night to take on the Lady Patriots of Union County High School. The Patriots deployed a strategy of 'stall ball' to try to shorten the game and limit possessions to slow down the Knights high powered attack. At the end of the first quarter the score was tied up 3-3, which was the lowest first quarter output by Northeastern all season. Thanks to a buzzer beater by Camille Angi, Northeastern took a two point lead into the half 13-11. Northeastern made some halftime adjustments to try to combat the slow pace of the Patriots. In the third quarter, the Lady Knights were able to cause a few turnovers which allowed them to extend their lead to 13 points. Northeastern was able to hang on to the lead for the rest of the game earning their 20th win of the season.
