The Knights traveled to Union City and came with a 34-30 win. The Knights jumped out early in the 1st quarter leading 13-5. The Indians battled back in the 2nd quarter cutting the Knights lead to 22-20 at the half. The second half was a defensive battle back forth with neither team building more than a 4 point lead. The Knights trailed 29-30 with 13 seconds remaining, then Jarrett Leitner drained a deep 3 to put the Knights on top 32-30. The Knights forced a turnover on the inbound pass and a Union City foul on Luke Wiley who knocked down both free throws with 8.1 seconds remaining to seal the game . Jarett Leitner led the offense with 10 points, followed by Xavier Madaris 7 points. Other Knights to score Luke Wiley 6 points, Braylon Malichi 4 points, Braylon Dudley 3 points, Kaleb Kress and Jonathan Wilt 2 points each. The Knights are now 4-6 on the season and play next at Monroe Central on January 17 @6pm.
