Northeastern Lady Knights extended their winning streak to 14 games defeating 3A Shelbyville to open the Wings & Rings Winter Classic Tournament at Northeastern just shortly after Ava Mikesell signed to play basketball next season at Olivet Nazarene University. Knights won by a final of 62-35 to advance to the second round to face Kokomo.
