Northeastern put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the New Castle Trojans 67-27. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 20 points or more this season. Leading Northeastern to victory were Adysson Kircher and Ava Mikesell. Kircher went 8 for 15 on her way to 21 points and three steals, while Mikesell went 5 of 10 on her way to 17 points and five steals. Mikesell is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 15 games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cami Angi, who posted five points and five steals. Northeastern smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in six consecutive matchups. Northeastern pushed their record up to 13-0 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.8 points per game.
