Your Lady Knights hosted First Responder Appreciation Night on Friday and honored the late RPD K9 Officer Seara Burton. Seara was a 2012 Northeastern graduate and played basketball all four years of high school. Officer Burton was killed in the line of duty and passed from her injuries on September 28, 2022 at the age of 28. Despite such an emotional night, the Lady Knights came out hot with a 17-6 lead after the first quarter and never looked back. Northeastern shot 61% from 2 and 50% from 3 on the night along with 24 steals to help them to an 82-28 victory over the Bulldogs. Knights move to 3-0 in the TEC and are on the road Tuesday night at National Trail (OH).
