Lady Knights Top Indians To Move To 2-0 In Conference

The Lady Knights jumped out to an early 16-5 lead over the Lady Indians after the first quarter of action. Union City rallied back and hit a half court buzzer beater to swing the momentum in their favor. With a defensive adjustment, Sophomore Ava Mikesell took on the responsibility of shutting down the opposing team's best player and allowed to Knights to extend their lead to start the second half. Northeastern had balanced scoring in an overall great team effort as four different players had 13+ points in the contest. The Lady Knights improved to 3-2 on the season with the 67-40 win. They also improve to 2-0 at home and in the TEC.
