The Varsity and Junior Varsity girls basketball teams both picked up wins on Tuesday night vs Muncie Central. Despite trailing 21-14 at the half, the Varsity Lady Knights scored 45 second half points to defeat the Bearcats by a final of 59-49. Northeastern was led by Jr Addisen Mastriano with 19 points 12 rebound 3 assists and 5 blocks. So Ava Mikesell took over the game late and finished with 18 points 5 rebounds 4 assists and a game high 9 steals. Jr Juztice Slick also chipped in 10 points and 4 steals. The JV Lady Knights set the tone early in front of an electric crowd beating the Bearcats 44-29. The team is back in action on the road this Friday at Franklin County.
