MS Football defeats Hagerstown

Knights finish the season with a dominant defensive effort with a shutout win over the Tigers of Hagerstown 38-0. Knights took the opening drive and scored on a Corbin Isaacs touchdown and 2-point conversion. The Knights Gavin Platt set the tone on Hagerstown first possession with a hard hit to force a fumble that Landon Helms picked up and ran to Hagerstown 8-yard line. That set up a Josh Idle touchdown run. The defense was also led by Luke Brock, Corbin, and Rodney Carlin each with an interception. Q Denton recovered a fumble as well for the Knights. Colton Smith, Khyler Phillips, Landon Helms, and Q all recorded a tackle for loss. The rushing attack was led by Josh Idle with two touchdowns and Corbin Isaacs with a touchdown. Khyler Phillips threw for two touchdown passes to Caden Retter. Colton Bostic rushed for a 2-point conversion along with Colton Smith, Gavin Platt, and Corbin Isaacs. The Knights finished the season at 6-1.
