The Lady Knights started their season Wednesday with a dominating win over Conference foe Hagerstown, outpacing The Lady Tigers 194-232 at Highland Lake. The ladies have been ready to kick off the season, having high expectations for themselves and the team. Scoring was led by Senior Lauren Lacy as she was the match medalist with a scorching 43. Juniors Ava Bales (48) and Julia Beatty (51) followed close behind. Freshman Macey Oler posted a very respectable 52 in her Varsity debut and Fellow Freshman Makayla Hopkins shot a 64 to round out the Varsity scores. Sophomores Baylee White(60) and Izzy McDugle(64) paced the JV action. The ladies will travel Saturday to the Monroe Central Invitational and look to finish near the top of the 9 team field at Hickory Hills GC.
