The Northeastern JV football team traveled west to rival Centerville this past Monday and came away with a 20-18 victory over the Bulldogs. Koleson Pennington-Loaiza lead the Knights rushing attack with 2 touchdowns and a 2 point conversion that ended up being the difference in the game. Marshall Phillips also contributed a long TD run. The defense came up in the end by stopping a potential game-tying 2 point conversion with 10 seconds left in the game. They were lead by Blake Waters with an interception, Kameron Crawford forced a fumble near the goal line and Riley Isaacs also had 2 forced fumbles. Northeastern JV (6-0) returns to action next Monday at home against Shenandoah at 6:00 pm.
