Knights use fast start to defeat Centerville on Senior Night 39-12

Northeastern completed an 87 yard touchdown pass from Carson Terrell to Noah Ammerman on their first drive and never looked back beating Centerville 39-12 on Senior night Friday night. The Black Wall Defense forced 7 turnovers and scored two touchdowns on the night. The Knights scored 5 first half touchdowns to take a 32-0 lead into halftime and used the clock to shorten the second half to finish off the win. Terrell completed 18-26 passes for 265 yards and 3 TDs. He also had 62 yards rushing and a rushing TD. Ammerman caught 6 passes for 137 yards and a score. Conner Archie had 7 receptions for 77 yards and 2 scores. Dylan Isaacs had 106 total yards and 2 interceptions on defense. The defense was lead by Ethan Neeley with a fumble recovery for a touchdown and Calvin Berhalter with an interception return for a TD. Archie had 11 total tackles and an INT. Colton Creech had 9 total tackles and Neeley had 8 total tackles. Northeastern (5-1) returns to action this Friday at Shenandoah (3-3) for a non-conference showdown that starts at 7 pm.
