The Lady Knights fall 7-2 against Franklin County in their final game on the weekend. The Wildcats scored their first run in the top of the first. The Knights took the lead in the second inning, scoring 2 runs on a double from Clare Lopeman (Sr), and a 2-run homer from Kenzie Johnson (Fr). Franklin County added 4 runs in the fourth and another 2 runs in the fifth inning, regaining the lead. The Lady Knights went scoreless the rest of the game. Senior Clare Lopeman was on the mound for the Lady Knights, earning 13 strikeouts on the day, and giving up 7 runs (5 ERs) on 8 hits and 2 walks.
