The Lady Knights earned another win against Randolph Southern on Thursday, winning 17-0. The Knights were able to bat through the lineup, earning 9 straight runs in the first inning. The Knights earned another 5 runs in the second inning, with some help from a 3-run homerun from Brooklynne Adams (So), her first of the season. Another 3 runs were added in the final 2 innings for the Knights. Lexi Russell (Jr) and Jocelyn Allen (Fr) each added hits for the Knights, along with a double from Jayden Hildebrand (Fr). 14 out of the 16 players on the Knights’ roster were able to score during the game. Sophomore Addi Wright pitched an outstanding game for Northeastern, earning a shutout and a no-hitter. Wright struck out 14 of her 16 batters faced, while only walking 1.
