The Lady Knights gained another win on Saturday against New Castle. The Knights took the lead in the 4th inning scoring 3 runs off a single by Karri Gammon (Fr), a walk from Jocelyn Allen (Fr), and a triple by senior Lilly Null. The Knights tagged on more runs in the 5th inning with a single by Lexi Russell (Sr), a walk from Clare Lopeman (Sr), and a 3 run homer from freshman Karri Gammon, her 4th of the year. Jocelyn Allen (Fr) and Baylee White (Fr) also added additional runs for the Knights. The Lady Knights earned an 8-1 win over the Trojans. Lopeman pitched all 7 innings for Northeastern earning 7 strikeouts and giving up 6 hits and only 1 run. The Knights will be on the road on Monday against Cowan, and will host the rest of the week facing Winchester (Conference), Randolph Southern, and Centerville (Conference).
