Coming off a 2-game losing streak, the Lady Knights bounce back on Thursday, hosting Lincoln. The tough game came down to the wire as the Knights were down 1 run in the 3rd inning. In the bottom of the 6th inning, freshman Jayden Hildebrand led with a single, giving the Knights the momentum they needed to rally back. Hits by Hildebrand, Lexi Russell (Jr), Emma Neeley (Sr) , and a double from Karri Gammon (Fr), allowed for the Knights to take a 4-1 lead going into the 7th inning. Senior Clare Lopeman pitched the entire game, earning a big TEC win. Lopeman gave up only 1 hit on the day and earned 8 strikeouts. The Eagles were held to only 1 run Thursday night. The Lady Knights will be back on the road Friday as they play another TEC game against Knightstown at 5:30 PM.
