The Lady Knights went to Lincoln and defeated the Eagles 3-2. Winners for the Knights were #1 Singles, #1 & #2 Doubles and the Knights fought hard but fell short at #2 and #3 Singles. "We're getting there. We made strides tonight and won a key match. Again, because of the practice situation, we have to be mentally tough enough to use matches as practices, experimentation with shot making, as well as constructing points. We're starting to realize that how we do this makes matches easier by setting up the next shot with a placed or angled shot. We're getting better and smarter, and that's the progress we like to see," said Coach Haynes. The Lady Knights improve to 2-2 overall and 2-0 in TEC play.
