The Lady Knights lost a closer than the score would indicate match 5-0 to BRV. The #2 Doubles match went to a super tiebreak instead of a 3rd set, with the Knights Doubles team of Olivia Null and Alyssa Sheets losing 10-7 in the super tiebreak. #1 Doubles team Ella Coddington and Chaia Gardner as well as #3 Singles player Aubrey Mainous also came close to forcing a 3rd set super tiebreak instead of a 3rd set, but came short in tying thee respective matches and both lost 6-4 in the 2nd set. "We have to learn to win, instead of playing not to lose, and we would easily have won this match 3-2 or 4-1. We just need to play and make the most of our chances and not let chances slip away in key moments. We set ourselves up to win but then lost our groove," said Coach Haynes.
