After a sluggish start where the Knights found themselves down 13-0 in the first quarter to the visiting Raiders of Shenandoah, they rallied with 13 first half points of their own and scored with 1:30 left in the game to come away with a 19-16 win at home to push their season record to 6-1 overall. Colton Creech scored all 3 TDs for the Knights with one coming on a 32 yard pass from Blake Waters and the other two coming on TD runs of 7 and 1 yard. Northeastern had 4 turnovers on the night but overcame those with great performances by several players. Blake Waters led the offense with 235 yards passing on 13-21 passing and Dylan Ross added 99 total yards. Conner Archie had 4 catches for 89 yards and Creech had 71 total yards in addition to the 3 scores. Logan White had a 30 yard catch and run that set up the game winning touchdown. The defense struggled to keep the Raiders off the field all night but forced 2 turnovers and allowed only 2 TDs on the night. They were led by Colton Creech and Conner Archie who each had 19 total tackles apiece. Zane Schneider and Charlie Shaffer each added 13 total tackles and Kam Crawford added 3 tackles for loss. Michael Henderson forced a fumble and Thane Berger recovered it. Dylan Ross also had the game-sealing interception. Tucker Shoemaker had a sack and 2 tackles for loss. The Knights return to action next Friday night at Knightstown (3-4) in a TEC battle.
