The boys and girls cross country teams competed at the Sectional Meet at Connersville High School on Saturday. Efforts were very high and the results were positive!
The ladies had very strong races. They achieved an average drop of 1 minute and 12 seconds from their previous race at Connersville. Emma Carr led the way for the ladies and qualified for the IHSAA Regional Meet at Rushville High School. She is the first girl to qualify for Regionals in cross country since 2015.
The short-handed boys team made up an enormous points gap to finish close behind conference opponent Union County and the host team, Connersville. Caylor Fisher led the way for the boys and secured a spot alongside Emma Carr at Regionals.
