The Lady Knights had several strong performances on Monday evening to finish second behind Winchester and ahead of Union.
Willow Runyon and Faith Phenis led things off, finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively in the 100 meter dash. Runyon and Phenis then teamed up with Emma Carr and Kenzie Chasteen to snag a big win in the 4 x 100 meter relay. Carr then came right back and pulled out a strong win in the 400 meter dash followed by Ali Scott who finished in third place. Jill Berger ran a great race in the 300 meter hurdles, finishing in second place. Runyon, Phenis, and Chasteen teamed up again in the 200 meter dash to sweep the top three spots. Runyon also joined Naleya Kinney in the long jump where they finished second and third respectively.
The Lady Knights compete next at the Tiger Booster Invitational at Hagerstown this Friday.
