Eastern Hancock Match Rained Out

By Matt Haynes | Apr 26, 2024 9:00 PM

After driving for almost an hour in off and on rain to Eastern Hancock for a non-conference match and non-sectional team to play against, the Lady Knights started playing but shockingly could only get 20 minutes of play in before having to cancel the match altogether because of heavy rain soaking the courts. The Knights still sport a 5-2 record, 2-2 non-conference record, and are currently 3-0 in the TEC. The Knights play 3 away TEC matches in a row next week, starting with Union City on Monday, Union County on Tuesday, and Winchester on Wednesday, and will get much needed time to practice (weather permitting) on Thursday and Friday next week. A special thanks to all the fans for coming out and making the long drive in the off and on rain and cheering us on before we got rained out!
