Lady Knights fall to Eastern Hancock

The Knights were on the road on Wednesday, April 24th to face a very tough Eastern Hancock team. The Knights took a 15-0 loss sending their record down to 4-3 on the season. With only 1 hit by the freshman Jocelyn Allen, the Knights struggled with putting the bat on the ball against the Royals. The Knights were shut out in 5 innings for only the second time this year. Starting pitcher Mackenzie Johnson earned 2 strikeouts, while giving up 3 walks, 6 hits, and 7 runs. Clare Lopeman earned 2 strikeouts on the mound, giving up 8 hits, and 8 runs (4 ER) to the Royals. With a tough TEC opponent on Thursday, the Lady Knights will have to bounce back to host Lincoln at 5:00 pm.
